Using Sugarpaste Cake Tip

When you have rolled out your sugarpaste to the required thickness and cut into shape you may find that it will shrink and then not fit your cake properly.

When cutting out each shape extend the cutting a little following the line of the template.

To speed up the drying process place sugarpaste shapes flowers etc in a lidded cake box and put into an airing cupboard.

If the environment is damp, such as the kitchen, it will take longer for your pieces to dry.
